Cover and invitation cards
The cover is the first impression of your Thesis!
There are many ways to make your cover attractive:
- beautiful pictures (corresponding to your Thesis or your private wish (a painting)
- special paper
- (thickened) spotvarnish
- lasercut
- preeg
With the design your cover I also offer you a free invitation card with the design of your cover integrated. It is even possible to request for an extra card for the party/dinner or with a QR code to share your Page-flip PhD Thesis.
Covers
You can make your own suggestions how you would like to have your cover designed. You can deliver a photo or a picture. It is also possible that I make a quality photo of a painting or object myself.
The design of your cover is in cooperation with you. Your wishes are very important for me, so I can make a cover where you will be fully satisfied of.
Contrast
In coverdesign contrast plays an important role. The small picture draws attention by the dark background color and gets a lightening effect
Color usage
For a nice harmonious cover it is important that the colors ‘ match ‘ with each other, I take care of it!
(Thickened) Spotvarnish
It gives a special effect to your cover. The cover will be mat laminated and some parts will be varnished glossy.
There is also a possibility to use thickened spot varnish which you can feel and gives a 3 D effect.
Lasercut
Lasercut is a special treatment in your cover so that only some parts of your cover/cards are cut away with the precision of a laser
Preeg
Preeg is a special treatment in your cover so that only some parts of your cover/cards raised or lowered. You can see and feel it very good.
Special paper
There are many special papers for your cover available! Like grow paper (with seeds in it), soft touch (feels like velvet), metal look (like the gold paper in the preeg section) etc etc. Ask me if you want to learn more about
